    List of Black Confederate Definitions.

Why would a "black Confederate" have to be a soldier? There were Confederate civilians, correct?

    My father died this morning

Matt, I'm sorry to hear about your loss. I lost my dad 11 years ago, and I remember well how difficult that time is. Take care.

Very nice. My only complaint is having to download one chapter at a time, but I can't complain about the price.

"Plagues"? Seriously? How many people are actually dying of this virus, and how does that compare with other regular seasonal ailments? https://www.foxnews.com/media/coronavirus-fears-overhyped-outbreak-perspective "One of the reasons why there is obviously so much fear and anxiety is because...

Coronavirus: Track the virus' spread with this world map tool

I don't think it's a deep state plot. The virus is real enough, I just think it's being treated more as a politically useful event than a genuine health issue, and I do think it's being overblown. I could always turn out to be wrong, of course.

Coronavirus: Track the virus' spread with this world map tool

We live in a day and age when even a disease is political, and useful to attack Trump, as your comment illustrates. And I suspect that's why the news are hyping it as much as they are. I repeat, I will not be surprised at all if this turns out to be far less of a problem than we're currently...

Coronavirus: Track the virus' spread with this world map tool

After all the hype, what will be amusing is if this virus outbreak ends up being fairly minor. It's got a long way to go before it even kills as many as flu has.

GOP appointees considered disloyal to Trump won’t be spared as president’s new hatchet-man begins pu

The President was put into place by the American people. He is the representative of their authority in the Executive branch, not some interloper that those in his branch of the government can just ignore if they disagree with him.

GOP appointees considered disloyal to Trump won’t be spared as president’s new hatchet-man begins pu

Indeed. I'm trying to think of any job I've had where I could constantly undermine the boss and expect to keep that job. It just doesn't work that way.

To erect a suitable Monument to their memory

How? Connect the dots here. I could just easily suggest, with as much evidence as you've provided, that a "racist white supremacist violent society" suggests a correlation between toothbrushes and lynching. Spell it out for us. And did grave markers on Confederate graves push the same message as...

To erect a suitable Monument to their memory

George Washington was a traitor to his king and lawful government. I'd be in good company. "So-called" higher loyalties? You'd choose the United States over your wife, children or your home? Interesting.

To erect a suitable Monument to their memory

They were not traitors, and did not fight for slavery. In addition, as I've noted elsewhere, there are higher loyalties than country. Home and family come first, and if it came down to defending my home and family from an invading US army, I would hope I'd have made the same choice my ancestors did.

To erect a suitable Monument to their memory

Same here, and in fact all of them that I've found so far joined later in the war and for different reasons, so far as I can tell. - one was conscripted, tried to go AWOL at a certain point, was brought back and ended the war as a POW - one joined a month before he turned 18, so probably a young...

To erect a suitable Monument to their memory

Freedom of speech allows for things that some find offensive to go up in the public square. States and communities sent men off to die, States and communities memorialized them in the public square, as the article from the Aiken Standard reminds us. It's entirely appropriate.
