South Korean makes tanks now... Hummm... 2nd best...

Leopard Tank number 1st best? ... it was used in Syria and Afghanistan?

Our Tank fell to 3rd best

Does Ukraine make tanks? 10th...

A French tank makes the list that is a first, I have ever seen... and a Japnese tank makes the list?

Russia gets two tanks on the list...

Some of these tanks cost more than ours... The Russian tanks and the British tanks seem to be steals to buy...

syria: the turks have quite a few (+ leo Is)
afghanistan: after the canucks had scrapped their leo IIs and bought strikers instead (gaga!) those strikers didn't cut it and they borrowed a few IIa5 from the bundeswehr. they later bought of the shelf IIa6

factory #75 is located in kharkiv, which is now in ukraine

as this vid gives no reasoning whatsoever for the listing ...

What conflicts have the Lepold II been involved in?
Kirk's Raiders
that' what bavarians call the leopard II - it's a tad strange that a franconian separatist would use that truely bavarian expression

That's how your fellow German comrade @Wehrkrafat spelled it.
Kirk's Raiders
leopold II is a bavarian nickname for the leopard II

you however kinda mated him with yasser arafat

Either the Leporad II had its cherry popped in combat or it hasn't.If it hasn't then we can't say it's a good or bad tank.
Kirk's Raiders
it has - the canucks and danish used them in afghanistan and were quite impressed - the turks had a lot less success but they kinda used them strangely and lost a few. those were also older IIa4 models. - click -

It appears the Leporad II has not been used in the traditional role of a tank which was originally to breach trenches during WW1. Has other nations manufactured or purchased tanks then the role was expanded to tank vs tank combat such has duro the Spanish Civil War or the battle on Nooan Gol between the Japanese and Soviets in 1939.
Can tanks be used in counterinsurgency. Yes to a degree as in convoy escort or if the guerrillas engage in siezing and holding territory.
Tanks were used by both the American and North Vietnamese Army during the Vietnam War in certain situations.
The war against ISIS was more of a conventional war where ISIS from 2014 to 2016 could size hold and defend physical Territory. ISIS could capture and use tanks but without an Airforce said ISIS tank crews could live a very brief but exciting life . As of now ISIS is more of a guerrilla force.

The bane of modern tank crews is the anti tank missile.
A brief history is that the first anti tank missiles were or at least among the first usage was by the US Army during the 1972 North Vietnamese Army invasion of South Vietnam. The brand new TOW missile was fitted to US Army helicopters and successfully used against Soviet T-54s of the North Vietnamese Army.
The second major example was the Egyptian Army during the 1973 Yom Kippur War who successfully used Soviet Sagger missiles against Israeli tanks attacking Egyptian soldiers just North of the Suez Canal.
The Israelis used French Entac missiles against Egyptian tanks that were advancing in the Sini Dessert.
Russian made anti tank missiles proved deadly to the Israelis during the 2006 summer war against Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Houtti Rebels vs Saudi tanks in Yemen.

Al Jezzera has a very good documentary on the Israeli Merkeva (Chariot) tank. If one Google's it one will also see a good article from Top Ten News comparing the Merkeva to the M1 Abrams tank. Both tanks have seen combat.

So what tank was better between the T-34/85 and the US M-26 Pershing and the newer US M-46 vs the T-34/85 0or the Sheman M4 vs the T-34/85?
See Mark Felton's " Pershing vs T-34 Korea 1950" YouTube.
