You forgot the part about the Confederate Army was the world's first integrated army and that blacks made a significant contribution to the Confederate Armies manpower. You also forgot that slaves were happy as pigs in slop and it was the total fault of African warlords and the dam Yankees for the slave trade.

If we stipulate the 1970s as relatively new. A newer fantasy is that Reconstruction blacks and whites worked hand in glove to rebuild the South.
