A ZenForo version 1.5 is up on https://www.jggscivilwartalk.online
This is pre conversion for pratice and get a look and feel.  Don't panic yet.
You will be locked out until I have time to unlock, I was locked out and played maze rat until I figured the magic words.

This just to look at, browse and fuss give constructive criticism.  The forums and posts should be viewable.  Let me know what you all think.

When we convert for real, this site will be closed but hopefully viewable for a while.  The new site will become the .com site.

Questions will be answered when I wake up again.

FWIW, I like it. More professional, & familiar format. ;)
I chose MyBB because it was free. I was looking at surviving a long start-up period. This is much better but came with a $160 price tag, plus another $40 for a better site. That was put up by

We have a site rental for 4 years. I hope that annual costs are in the $20 range. I don't like random advertising, hitting up members to help pay my personal bills, asking for money to avoid advertising or selling stuff. I like a not for profit site. Clean and neat for members to participate.

Nope. Orville Redenbacher's microwave popcorn is my preferred brand. There are some decent canned, flavored popcorns too, made locally here in Chicagoland.
feel free to go for it
