Here is how big Israel's military is... There are more charts and graphs in the article...

Israel operates a vast military apparatus. According to the International Institute for Strategic Studies’ (IISS) Military Balance 2023, Israel has 169,500 active military personnel in the army, navy and paramilitary. A further 465,000 constitute its reserve forces, while 8,000 form part of its paramilitary. Some 300,000 Israeli soldiers are now stationed near the Gaza Strip, a military spokesman said on Wednesday amid fears of a possible ground operation.

In 2022, Israel dedicated 4.5 percent of its gross domestic product (GDP) to the military, the 10th highest percentage in the world.

More than three-quarters of Israel’s military imports amounting to $2.1bn came from the US while the remaining $546m came from Germany.

The Israelis ordered the evacuation from North Gaza 1.1 million people to leave within 24 hours, an impossible feat, and where to go? The Israelis have now killed more than 1600 Palestinians, the hospitals are overwhelmed with wounded and displaced 300,000 people in Gaza. It is already starting to become a disproportional response to the Hamas terror attack. When will the outrage begin...

Israel’s order for 1.1 million civilians in the Gaza Strip to relocate from the north to the south within 24 hours has created an atmosphere of confusion and fear in the besieged enclave on the seventh day of Israel’s retaliatory bombardment.

In response, the Hamas Authority for Refugee Affairs told residents in the north to “remain steadfast in your homes and to stand firm in the face of this disgusting psychological war waged by the occupation”.

“In practical terms, 1.1 million people – they don’t have enough facilities to move, how can they move? Donkeys? They don’t have enough donkeys. Cars? There are not enough cars. There is no fuel for vehicles to move for seven days now,” al-Kahlout said, adding that the situation reminded people of the 1948 catastrophe – the mass exodus of at least 750,000 Arabs from Palestine.

The Palestinians have been claiming the Israelis want the Ethnic Cleansing of Gaza and ordering 1.1 million to evacuate could add recreedance to those claims... I want to point out that Israel only wants the Palestinians to go to Egypt for they are not making camps for Palestinians inside Israel... One could argue that Israelis are expelling the Palestinians... Comparing 9/11 and this Hamas attack is a false equivalence comparison...

For European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, “Russia’s attacks against civilian infrastructure, especially electricity, are war crimes. Cutting off men, women, children of water, electricity … are acts of pure terror.” But Israel doing the same against Palestinians in Gaza is legitimate self-defense! That’s the very embodiment of hypocrisy and double standard.

For that purpose, it has already recalled some 350,000 military reservists and amassed 100,000 soldiers as well as a number of tanks on its southern border. Meanwhile, the attempts to create a humanitarian corridor to ship people from Gaza into the Sinai to keep them “safe” and to make it easier for Israel to invade are bound to be rejected by Palestinian and Arab leaders alike as no more than a pretext to expel Palestinians from their homeland, again.

Some follow-up...

This is an older article on the topic... Israelis talking about the demographic threat...

First, Israel Policy Forum issued a report in February on possible outcomes of the conflict signed by purported liberal Americans – Obama ambassador Dan Shapiro wrote the foreword, Shira Efron and Evan Gottesman wrote the report– that says it is “important” to consider whether Palestinians are becoming a majority in the land between the river and the sea, and in Israel itself, and offered observations of Jewish and Palestinian “fertility” rates as if that’s an acceptable way to look at things.

These liberals warn that even a substantial minority of Palestinians inside Israel will “jeopardize” the country.

Whether and when the Palestinians become a majority is an important question, but Israel’s ability to retain its credentials as a Jewish and democratic state would be jeopardized even if the Palestinians only become a substantial minority. The proposals to annex parts or all of the West Bank, could add 2.6 million Palestinians to Israel’s population. If they become equal citizens, they would command immense political power, making up almost 40% of the population and changing Israel’s Jewish character.
Imagine saying that people of color jeopardize the character of the United States…. What would that make you?

This next article is about the Plight of Palestinian women inside and outside their communities... They got it rough... You need to read the way the Palestinians see healthcare for women...

This impact on access is particularly exacerbated in Palestine: in addition to the constraints presented by patriarchal taboos, Palestinian women are also subject to constant threats of violence and restrictions on all aspects of their lives from the Israeli occupation.

Strict gender norms not only inhibit access to services in Palestine, but also limit the type of services available. As a woman’s role is generally viewed as solely reproductive, most women’s health services cater to child-bearing or family planning. This leaves little to no services available for menopause-related issues, and almost all SRH clinics close a woman’s file after a year without menstruation.

After navigating the social restrictions placed on their access, Palestinian women are then subject to the violence and limitations of the Israeli occupation. One of the key impacts of the occupation on SRHS access is through mobility restrictions, namely checkpoints. There are over 700 Israeli checkpoints and road obstacles dotted around the West Bank, which determine every aspect of Palestinians’ movement, even for urgent health services

Israel’s regular killing of Palestinians, arrests of children, and moving Israeli settlers into Palestinian land are all tools to curb the growth of the Palestinian population and ensure Israeli dominance. This, in turn, has encouraged a view of Palestinian childbirth as a form of resistance against Zionist agendas, in both Israeli and Palestinian national narratives. In Palestinian political discourse, bearing and rearing children has come to symbolise an act of defiance to the occupation, ensuring the continuance of Palestinians’ physical existence on their land.

A far right wing religious dominated government will screw the pooch every time.

That said, the only long term solution is to kill all the Palestinians without appearing to kill them.

The word is out... ethnic cleansing...

Given the humanitarian crisis that the Israeli government is knowingly generating in southern Gaza, the point may be to spark an exodus to Egypt – again, for ostensibly humanitarian purposes. The Egyptian government, a partner in maintaining Israel’s 16-year closure of Gaza, has no interest in a massive influx of refugees. Egypt is going through its own economic crisis, and in any event has long feared that large-scale movement from Gaza would include Hamas militants who would fuel the simmering insurgency in northern Sinai.

Yet if Palestinian residents of Gaza feel they must flee to Egypt to stay safe, they should be permitted to go. But they understandably worry that the Rafah crossing to Egypt will operate in only one direction – that their flight will replicate the nakba, or catastrophe, of 1948, in which 700,000 Palestinians fled or were driven from their homes in what became Israel, never to be allowed back. The vast majority of Gaza residents are descendants of those nakba refugees.

Here is something that may be true or not a Flood Bomb... There is a theory Hamas has tunnels to bring in water from the sea to flood parts of northern Gaza...

Hamas' secret weapon? Is a sea flood bomb awaiting Israel when it launches a ground offensive in Gaza?

As Israel is preparing for a ground offensive in Gaza, a new theory is gaining ground that the Palestinian militant group Hamas will use its tunnel-making skills as a weapon, writes ETV Bharat’s Aroonim Bhuyan.

Interesting but not practical. IMHO best to fight in the ruins and use tunnels for resupply and reinforcement. OTOH if true all the Israel military needs to do is drop a few bunker busters on the coast and Hamas is flooded out with little cost.

True but no one should take the Palestinians in once they leave the land there will be no return for them, just like in 1947... Israel's ethnic cleansing once again goes ignored by the West... Israel could make camps for women and children and barring men from leaving the Gaza Strip just as easy as pushing them into Egypt... You know Israel in the past has found creative ways to seek revenge on terrorists but now they are just being bullies...

The second intifada broke the West Bank's Palestinians' will to fight for the local population has reluctantly accepted Israel's rule. The video mentions to win an insurgency you need the reluctant acceptance of the locals is that Israel's goal. I do not know because Israel wants the West Bank land and they never really wanted Gaza...

No free speech rights for Muslims or Palestinians in Germany... Is protesting anti-semitism... being anti-zionist being anti-semitism... Zionism is a nationist movement... @rittmeister , @Wehrkraftzersetzer

https://apnews.com/article/germany-scholz-israel-aid-hamas-b38a3cf34895fbfc0c966bb27413886f

Scholz said that Germany will issue a formal ban on activity by or in support of Hamas, which is already listed by the European Union as a terror group. He said groups such as Samidoun, which was behind the weekend pastry action, will be banned.
Scholz said there will be “zero tolerance for antisemitism.”

Public support for Palestinian rights and sympathy for the Palestinian cause, according to surveys, has been stronger in some European countries than it is in the United States. One poll published in July by the company YouGov found that, of people in European countries with opinions about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, there was a greater tendency to side with the Palestinians. The exception was Germany, where respondents were almost evenly split on the issue.

Germany slowed walked lethal aid but not for Israel...
